About the Role
We are looking for a part-time Marketing and Communications Manager to develop and execute marketing and communications strategies to promote the American Offshore Wind Academy's programs, initiatives, and events. As a remote role, the Marketing and Communications Manager will communicate with stakeholders, create engaging content, manage social media accounts, plan and execute b2b and b2c events, and work with the team to manage and improve the website’s content.
Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for key clients.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Understand client needs and develop strategies to meet their goals.
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive growth.
Develop strategies to expand the Academy's client base.
Ensure the successful delivery of training programs to meet client expectations.
Work closely with internal teams to guarantee high-quality service.
Resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients promptly.
Gather client feedback and incorporate insights into program development.
Continuously assess and improve service delivery processes.
Prepare regular reports on client interactions, sales, and forecasts.
Provide insights and recommendations based on performance metrics.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related fields
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing or Communications
Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing campaigns and initiatives
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to write content aligned with branding and messaging guidelines
Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and project management skills
Experience with social media management, event planning, media relations, and website content management systems
Ability to work independently and remotely with cross-functional teams effectively.
Experience with renewable energy, offshore wind, and environmental initiatives is a plus
